Toshiba Redesigns 4 Satellite Models

Toshiba has announced that their 13.3-inch U400, 14.1-inch M300, 15.4-inch A300 (pictured) and 17-inch P300 have been redesigned with a fusion finish, feather-touch multimedia keys, white LED accents and built-in Dolby Sound Room technology along with sleep-and-charge USB ports allowing users to charge up their portable gadgetry with USB even if the laptop is powered on / off or in Sleep mode. Sounds like a good redesign. There’s no word on when these and how much these redesigned satellite laptops are, but I can imagine a bit on the pricey side. [BusinessWire]

MSI VR340 Laptop

MSI will be releasing a new 13.3-inch laptop called the VR340. It features a dual-core Intel CPU, WXGA panel, up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM, dual-layer DVD burner, a trio of USB ports, 5-in-1 multicard reader and a six-cell battery. HP To Release New Asus Eee-PC Competitor

HP will release a new Asus Eee-PC competitor in April 7th, 2008. Known as the HP 2133, this Ultra Mobile PC comes equipped with 1.2GHz/1.6GHz VIA C7-M processor, VIA Chrome 9 graphics chipset, 8.9inch display with 1,280 x 768 resolution, 120GB/160GB hard drive, 1GB/2GB DDR2 RAM, Windows Vista Home Basic/Business/SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. MSI GX-6000 Enhanced Gaming Laptop

MSI has upgraded their GX-6000 laptop and is now called the GX-6000 enhanced. It comes with new 45nm processing technology, a RAM of up to 3GB, and the hard drive is 320GB, a Turbo button on the keyboard to increase the CPU speed by up to 20 percent, a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 3D chipset, 5.1 channel audio output, SPDIF and HDMI connections, a 15.4″ WXGA+ display, integrated bluetooth and 1.3 megapixel camera. Panasonic Toughbook 19

Panasonic has announced that their Toughbook 19 will be getting an upgrade. The sturdy laptop now has a 1.06GHz U7500 processor (2MB L2 cache), up to 4GB of SDRAM, 80GB shock-mounted HDD, 10.4-inch daylight-readable display, a battery good for around seven hours, optional integrated WWAN / GPS / 2-megapixel webcam and a magnesium alloy case. MIU HDPC
